It's looking like a two horse race for Davis between tOSU and Kentucky. Syracuse is a longshot.
I think with Davis and Miller one ends up at Kentucky and the other tOSU. I'd love to see Miller at UofL if Kentucky gets Davis but I'm just not buying the Miller/UofL hype. I think they are better off spending their time and effort on Behannon. While lousiville is busy with Miller WV and Cincy are pushing out in front for Behannon. He'll be a great college player. I'd love to see him at Kentucky but I don't think well have a ride for him. |

From someone inside Ohio States athletic department Davis likes UK but the parents are more comfortable with OSU right now.
Once Cal gets some face time with the parents I suspect they'll feel differently. Hopefully that happens but if he visits tOSU first Matta will probably work to get Davis to commit before leaving. Syracuse is a distant third in this race and I'm not sure of the order in which the visits will take place. The fact that Davis plans to commit soon after the visits works in our favor I feel. I can't remember the last time a kid visited our campus and wasn't blown away. The longer they take to commit the more the image fades. I think it's safe to say tOSU and Kentucky are neck and neck for Davis. It could go either way really. |

As long as we get Davis or Miller, I'll be happy

Same here. If Jones leaves we could end up with both guys. I'd rather have Jones as a sophomore though than Miller as a freshman.
Also, I suspect Cal has backed off Johnny O a little. Looking harder at Rakeem Christmas and Amir Williams now. |

I didn't know Rakeem Christmas had any interest in us.

Cal has the attention of every elite prospect in the country right now.
I really don't see us missing out on any of our top targets in that class. |

With a checkbook as big as Paypal Cal's, and his notable lack of ethics, he ought to have the attention of every recruit in the country, wouldn't you think? It will be a sad, but deserved, day when the boom falls and falls hard on UK and the most dishonest, unethical coach and basketball program UK has created for itself. Enjoy it while it lasts, because it won't last long. Unfortunately, UK is the next Southern Cal, and you can take that to the bank.

Davis visited yesterday per Dave Telep. Kentucky Ink has an interview up detailing the visit but its a pay article.
Someone did post a brief summary on Rafters however. Davis, like every kid that visits for basketball, said the visit was great. Feeling good about Davis but he's still supposed to take another unofficial to tOSU with his parents. |

Anthony Davis has made his choice. He is now being touted as the number 1 player in the country and the best player from Illinois since Kevin Garnett.
His recruitment is also said to be extremely dirty. I think he ends up at DePaul. |

Anthony Unibrow Davis will probably end up at UK. He apparently visited them over the weekend.

Considering all the rumors on just how dirty Davis' recruitment has been, I think he'll have his biggest takers in Chicago, but I maybe wrong. |

I don't know. Cal usually lands those supposedly embroiled in dirty recruiting. Look at John Wall.. even Feez was saying the dirtiest program would land the guy. I think that's exactly what happened.

Cats on verge of historic class? Scout's Dave Telep reporting 5-star big man Anthony Davis has made choice, although not ready to go public.
