Really? Do they like jefferson more or was it that they didn't want to wait on riley when they could take jefferson?

It's still up in the air of Luc will be an EE. If he is he is probably UT/UF. If he is not then I think FSU has the edge.

I believe I read an article yesterday where he said he was done with visits and would decide after the playoffs where he will attend in January.

he's saying if he doesn't enroll early and waits to february to make a decision he thinks FSU would be the choice but if he decides in the next few weeks to attend school in January then UT/UF.

Outside of not knowing his coordinator and his position coach, I can't think of one and that will be known very soon.

yeah just because he doesn't know who the defensive staff will be and may or may not have a relationship with those people. His family is very involved and they are very high on both Charlie Strong and Monte Kiffin. I don't see FSU being a player for him unless for some reason he decides not to be an EE where that gives him and his family more time to examine the situation. Florida is on the verge of being out of the equation when he takes the Louisville job though.

Right, just to get more comfortable with the new defensive staff. Also the potential impact of Charlie Strong leaving. I read it at TN.

He will have plenty of time to buddy up to the new DC before decision time. Won't be a factor.

I hope so but the longer he waits the better our chances are IMO, just like Christian Green.
When do you think we name our new LB coach? |

he may like FSU but if his statements about his family are right then they wouldn't even be in consideration until they had a defensive staff that the family trusted with their son. Those haitians are very family oriented. Im not saying he won't go to FSU but if the decision is imminent like he is saying I dont see how they are a possibility givin his prior statements. It would be nice if Luc would tip his hat some.

And you think his family trusts Kiffin and Meyer? I think Luc will let things play out and see the new staff at FSU, then pick us. Obviously our staff is not as proven as Florida's and not as flashy as Tennessee's but of the three it will be the best family atmosphere.

fsu with the best family athmosphere? it seems extremly dysfunctional right now. Maybe the most normal family atmosphere if you are going for the dysfunctional angle. ![]() I dont see Luc stringing it out longer either. He's a kid that doesn't seem to like the recruiting process very much. |
